บทคัดย่อ

Evaluation of different ethylene inhibitors on postharvest life of rose (Rosa sp. L.).

ABSTRACT :

 

Cut rose flowers (cultivars Samantha and Madame Delbard) were held in water (controls) or in various solutions containing either the ethylene activity inhibitor silver thiosulphate (STS, 4 or 8 mM Ag) or the ethylene synthesis inhibitor aminooxyacetic acid (AOA, 0.5 or 1.0 mM). The longest vase life was obtained with a solution containing STS at 4 mM Ag + 16 mM Na2SO3 + 1.5% sucrose + 50 p.p.m. chlormequat.
