บทคัดย่อ

Postharvest physiology of climacteric fruits: recent developments in the biosynthesis and action of ethylene.

ABSTRACT :

 

The physiological events underlying the development of competence to ripen, the effects of external factors (temperature, O2, CO2 and physiological and pathogenic stresses) on ethylene biosynthesis and action, the biochemical and molecular aspects of ethylene biosynthesis, and the control of ethylene production in transgenic fruits are reviewed.
