บทคัดย่อ

Quality maintenance of fruit and vegetables with modified atmosphere packaging.

ABSTRACT :

 

The principles and applications of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) of fruits and vegetables and recent innovations in MAP are described. It is concluded that MAP technology is potentially a very useful one for developing countries such as Vietnam and it is proposed that the Vietnamese government take a leading role and work closely with the fruit and vegetable industry and various postharvest organizations to gather information on current fruit and vegetable production in Vietnam, possible markets (both domestic and international), factors affecting losses, existing postharvest practices, and available equipment, facilities and technology.
