Biological control of postharvest fruit disease.

ABSTRACT :

 

This comprehensive review covers recent advances in controlling postharvest diseases of apple, Vaccinium, cherry, citrus, grapes, peach and strawberry fruits using antagonistic bacteria, yeasts and other fungi, as well as treatments with naturally occurring fungicides or environmental modifications to retard rotting.
