Pistachio nut growing in Turkey.

ABSTRACT :

 

Turkey is one of major pistachio growing countries of the world. In a brief overview several aspects of pistachio production are discussed, with particular reference to rootstocks, cultivars, pollination, breeding, cultivation, irrigation, fertilizers, postharvest practices and marketing.
