บทคัดย่อ

Robotic harvesting of citrus: state-of-art and development of the French Spanish Eureka project.

 

The following stages in the development of an automated cost-effective agricultural harvesting machine are described: (i) orange detection and recognition by a machine vision system; (ii) robotic arm control and mechanical picking device; (iii) optimization of machine design with regard to orange tree and orchard structure; (iv) self-guidance system for orchard alleys. Further problems and improvements are discussed.
