บทคัดย่อ
Design calculations and experimental runs at pilot plant level were performed in order to determine the geometric characteristics of the drier and its heating systems. Air speeds and temperatures were determined. Temperature ranged from 50-95 deg C. Carrots were used to test drier performance. Results of the comparison between the experimentally measured drying time and the theoretical drying time obtained from the air using a psychrometer are presented.
