บทคัดย่อ

Studies on CA-storage of pomegranate (Punica granatum L., cv. Hicaz).

 

Pomegranate fruits (cv. Hicaz) were stored at 6, 8 or 10 deg C in CO2:O2 controlled atmosphere (CA) regimes of 1.5:3.0, 3.0:3.0 or 6.0:3.0% (RH was 85-90%). Control fruits were stored in air. Minimal losses of quality and weight were observed in fruits stored in the 6.0:3.0% CA regime for 6 months. Fruits stored in air at 6 deg were acceptable after 5 months' storage. Fruits stored in air at 8 or 10 deg had a storage life of 50 days whereas fruits stored at these temperatures under CA conditions had a storage life of 130 days.
