บทคัดย่อ

Alternative wastewater disposal methods for the fruit industry.

 

The quality of waste water generated by a packing facility depends on the fruit packed, chemicals used, and the water source for float tanks and rinsing operations. Waste water treatment and work done to develop information and alternative methods for disposal of packing house waste water is described. Revisions needed to the Fresh Fruit Packers' General Wastewater Discharge Permit are outlined.
