Economic evaluation of the development of irrigated farming.

 

The effect of introducing irrigation is not just the cost of arranging for water to be supplied to the area, but includes the cost of harvesting the extra crop, the need for extra drying, and the expansion of storing and processing capacity. The costs of such a production system were evaluated and defined after irrigation.
