Extending the vase life of cut flowers.

 

The effects of various preharvest environmental and cultural factors, harvesting techniques, postharvest treatments (hot water treatment, storage conditions, transport and restriction of ethylene damage) and vase water preservatives on the vase life of several cut flower species were evaluated.
