บทคัดย่อ

Stem-end rot of pear in Taiwan.

 

Rotted Pyrus pyrifolia fruits (cv. Nijisseiki) collected in a market in Dec. 1993 yielded an isolate of Phomopsis mali [Diaporthe perniciosa], not previously reported as an agent of stem-end rot on P. pyrifolia. Pathogenicity was confirmed experimentally and the isolate was also pathogenic to apple.
