บทคัดย่อ

On the determination of the first insect pest infestation on imported plant products from overseas.

 

Plant product consignments arriving at the port of Hamburg from various countries of origin are often infested by insect pests. Particular problems very often occur with transports of, for example, raw cocoa across regions of different climate, and sometimes extensive damage is caused. For the supplier/consignee and his transportation insurance it is necessary to know the time of the first infestation by the identified postharvest pests. A system is being developed to determine the first infestation by insect pest species.
