บทคัดย่อ

Factors contributing to internal breakdown of Fuji apples.

 

Information is provided based on 5 years of maturity and storage trials with Fuji apples conducted in Washington State. The effects of harvest maturity, water core incidence and controlled atmosphere (CA) storage on the development of internal breakdown during storage are outlined. As the severity of water core increases, fruits are more likely to develop internal breakdown in CA storage.
