บทคัดย่อ

The effect of increasing the quantity of gypsum on mushroom yield and quality.

 

Studies were conducted to determine the effect of increasing the quantity of gypsum added during Phase I composting on mushroom yield and quality. When gypsum was added at 37 (recommended rate) and 105 kg/1000 kg dry compost to 4 crops, yield and fresh and postharvest (up to 9 days at 12 deg C) quality did not differ significantly. Mushroom Ca content was not increased by the high rate of gypsum. Compost substrate was analysed for N, pH, ash and moisture, and the differences are discussed.
