บทคัดย่อ

The possibility of solar drying coffee in Yemen.

This paper discusses the possibility of coffee drying using solar energy to overcome the difficulties and drawbacks of traditional drying methods (sun drying). Solar drying will minimize the postharvest losses and avoid using the limited conventional energy resources for supplementary artificial drying. The traditional drying method was studied in relation to solar intensity in selected coffee production locations. Solar energy is abundant in all coffee production areas in Yemen, providing the possibility of using simple and cheap solar driers.
