บทคัดย่อ

Influence of inoculation with Pseudomonas andropogonis or P. gladioli on the occurrence of post-harvest diseases of tulip bulbs: bulb rot, bacterial black rot and bacterial brown rot.

The effects of postharvest inoculation of tulip bulbs with P. andropogonis [Burkholderia andropogonis] or P. gladioli [B. gladioli pv. gladioli], the causal agents of black rot and brown rot, respectively, were investigated. Bacterial black rot and bulb rot (Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. tulipae) were suppressed by relatively higher proportions of B. g. pv. gladioli to B. andropogonis, and bulb rot and brown rot was induced by B. andropogonis at 108 c.f.u./ml.
