Data are presented on the effects of CaCl2 (1-10 g/litre) on fruit firmness, soluble solids, total soluble sugar, malic acid and vitamin C [ascorbic acid] contents, respiration rate, superoxide dismutase activity, ethylene evolution and malondialdehyde contents during storage.
