บทคัดย่อ

Loss of sugar productivity - lodging and staling.

Lodging of the sugarcane crop, and deterioration of harvested cane, were examined in 6 sugarcane factories in Uttar Pradesh in 1995-96. Lodging decreased Brix and Pol percentage and juice purity. Post-harvest deterioration also significantly decreased sugar yield and quality.
