บทคัดย่อ

Comparative performance of power mist sprayers.

An experiment was conducted using 4 makes of mist sprayers to compare their performance. Tests were carried out under laboratory conditions. The purpose of the experiment was to determine the useful discharge rate, effective spray range, effective swath width, fuel consumption, noise level and wear and tear of internal moving parts after 50 h of endurance testing. Air velocity increased as the speed of shaft increased and air velocity decreased as distance increased from the nozzle. Discharge rate increased with increasing size of opening for mist sprayer. To improve the performance of the engine it is recommended that the carbon is removed from the piston crown and cylinder head near the spark plug after each 100 hours of operation.
