บทคัดย่อ

Asian vegetables: selected fruit and leafy types.

Descriptions are given of bitter melon (Momordica charantia), fuzzy melon (Benincasa hispida), angled luffa (Luffa acutangula), Chinese chive (Allium tuberosum), Chinese broccoli (Brassica oleracea) and Chinese flowering cabbage (Brassica campestris), including nomenclature, uses, cultivation/management and nutritive composition. Particular emphasis is given to postharvest treatment and storage of these vegetables.
