Study on the effect of calcium and NAA on the storability of kiwifruit.

Kiwifruit cultivar Hayward (Actinidia deliciosa) and Jinfeng (A. chinensis) fruits were soaked in 10 mg NAA/litre, 0.5% CaCl2 or 0.5% CaCl2 + 10 mg NAA/litre for 1 min and then packed in PVC bags. Only the combined treatment increased storability, the other treatments having a negative effect.
