Post harvest processes to guarantee quality. Part 1.

Recent trends and innovations in quality control of horticultural crops are illustrated through a detailed study of the techniques and equipment used by 2 large cooperatives handling crops for fresh consumption and industrial processing. Sorting, grading, cooling and refrigeration, and packing equipment is discussed.
