บทคัดย่อ

Effect of rain-damage on seed quality and germination potency of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.).

Freshly harvested and threshed chickpea cv. Ujjain 21 and Radhey seeds which were still on the threshing floor were damaged by 50 mm of rainfall. These were divided into healthy, semiblack, black and unprocessed and treated with thiram or Bavistin [carbendazim] or left untreated. Seed germination of the 4 categories was 98, 8, 3 and 60%, respectively. Treatment with the fungicides did not significantly affect seed germination.
