บทคัดย่อ

Direction of Lilium research.

Characteristics of the ideal lily would include ease of propagation and flower induction, short forcing time, long postharvest life, genetically controlled height, low nutritional requirement, pest-resistant growth and a wide variety of flower colours and forms. Areas of research, such as breeding and physiology, for attaining such qualities are discussed.
