บทคัดย่อ

The aflatoxicosis problem and management of aflatoxin in feed in Vietnam.

The problems of aflatoxin contamination in feeds in Vietnam are reviewed, including the incidence and prevention of aflatoxicosis in pigs and poultry. Methods of prevention of aflatoxicosis such as monitoring fodder moisture and aflatoxin levels and timely drying of harvested grain are discussed. A campaign to disseminate information through the mass media and via agricultural extension services has been used to promote aflatoxin prevention measures among feed mills and livestock farms and a network of services for aflatoxin monitoring is being established throughout the country.
