บทคัดย่อ

Selection, characterization and use of microbial antagonists for the control of Fusarium dry rot of potatoes.

The use of microbial antagonists in controlling Fusarium dry rot of potatoes, caused by F. sambucinum [Gibberella pulicaris], is discussed. The general strategies utilized in isolating antagonists are described. The results of evaluating and selecting individual antagonists and the potential of using mixed microbial inocula to control dry rot are also discussed. The potential mechanisms of biological control and future directions for research are suggested.
