บทคัดย่อ

Simulation of gas separation membranes for CA applications.

The physical laws governing gas permeation inside a hollow fibre gas separation membrane module are described and a numerical model for simulation of the module's characteristics is presented. Simulated values matched well with measured values from a real membrane separator, demonstrating the suitability of the simulation model. The effects of various parameters on membrane behaviour (doubling of the membrane surface, doubling of O2 permeability, increasing the feed pressure) were analysed using the computer simulation model.
