บทคัดย่อ

Effect of storage fungi of seeds on the seedling diseases of paddy.

Pathological symptoms of rice paddy (cv. Akhanphou), such as stunting and necrosis of radicle and fibrous roots, development of scanty fibrous roots, browning and blackening of the radicle and young leaf and dwarfing and drying of the seedlings were distinct symptoms of diseases due to the seedborne storage fungi, Aspergillus ustus, Curvularia lunata, C. oryzae and Memnoniella echinata. The number of seedlings with disease symptoms increased proportionately with increase in relative humidity level of seed storage.
