บทคัดย่อ

The defects of curing the leaves of tobacco Bright.

After harvest, tobacco Virginia Bright is dried in cells of hot air (bulk curing). The principal problems that can arise during the curing phase are reported. These are grouped according to the errors that have been suffered, i.e. level of nitrogen fertilization, coloration during curing and pathogens (fungi, bacteria and viruses) affecting tobacco during curing. Photographs are supplied and also, where possible, a brief description of symptoms, together with an explanation of causes and a description of remedies that can be applied.
