บทคัดย่อ

Thielaviopsis-rot intensified in carrots.

The cool moist weather in 1996 led to an outbreak of T. basicola in carrots. The washing process and subsequent packing in foil bags, provided opt. conditions of warmth and humidity for development of the fungus in harvested carrots. Notes are provided on the causative agent, host plants, physiology, transmission, geographical distribution, injuriousness, epidemiology and control of the rot disease caused by the fungus.
