Litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) fruit: influence of pre- and post-harvest factors on storage life and quality for export trade - a critical appraisal.

This review includes information on the effects of flowering pattern, growth regulators applied to initiate flowering, fruit drop and its control measures, fruit cracking, maturity, physico-chemical properties and changes, ripening, senescence, storage conditions and treatments, packaging, marketing and export on the postharvest quality of litchis.
