Study of knowledge of farm women about post harvest technology.

In a study of the knowledge of farm women with regard to postharvest technology, data was collected from 50 farm women in Bihar in 1995/96. It was observed that the gain in knowledge of farm women ranged from 6.76 to 28.47% depending upon the content of the knowledge test. However, the overall gain in knowledge of farm women with respect to simple, semi-difficult and difficult concepts were not uniform. There was a highly significant gain in the knowledge of farm women regarding postharvest technology with respect to simple ideas and significant gains in knowledge with respect to semi-difficult ideas.
