บทคัดย่อ

Research on postharvest technology of cut flowers at Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India.

Research work carried out at IARI, New Delhi on postharvest technology of cut flowers is reviewed. Investigations were conducted on genetic and inherent factors and various preharvest, harvest and postharvest factors which influence postharvest life and quality of cut flowers. Physio-biochemical changes occurring during development, aging and flower senescence as affected by different treatments are also considered.
