บทคัดย่อ

The incidence of onion smudge in Khorasan, Iran.

In late summer 1997, symptoms of anthracnose were observed on white onion scales in Torbat Heydarieh, Iran. Symptoms were concentrically black coloured spots with elongated dark brown bristles. At this time the crop was harvested and the disease developed and spread to other bulbs in storage conditions of 75-80% relative humidity and room temperature. The causal agent was isolated and identified as Colletotrichum circinans on the basis of morphological characteristics.
