บทคัดย่อ

The growth, yield and postharvest qualities of Tai-Chiao No. 2 as affected by the rate of compound fertilizer No. 4 (11-5.5-22).

Tissue-cultured saplings were planted in a silt loam soil with 2.1% organic matter. Three annual rates, 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 kg/plant of fertilizer were applied. Results showed that annual application rates of 1.0 and 2.0 kg/plant would improve physiological development and bunch weight of Tai-Chiao No. 2, compared with applying 0.5 kg/plant. Applying 1.0 kg/plant produced bananas with the longest shelf life. Fertilizer rate had little effect on TSS.
