บทคัดย่อ

Effect of different chemicals in holding solution on postharvest life and quality of cut roses.

The effects of 8-hydroxyquinoline sulfate, aluminium sulfate, nickel chloride, silver nitrate, ascorbic acid, kinetin or SADH [daminozide] in combination with 3% D-fructose on vase life was studied on Christian Dior roses. Vase life was longest (11.7 days compared with 6.25 in controls) with 2.5 ppm kinetin + 3% D-fructose.
