บทคัดย่อ

Prevalence of postharvest diseases of bell pepper in Himachal Pradesh.

During June-November 1993 and 1994 Capsicum collection centres, vegetable markets and stores in Shimla and Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India, were surveyed for storage pathogens. Storage rots varied from 2.4 to 19.4%. The most prevalent pathogens were Colletotrichum capsici and C. gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata], followed by Fusarium equiseti and F. moniliforme [Gibberella fujikuroi]. Other minor pathogens included Phytophthora nicotianae var. nicotianae, Aspergillus spp., Rhizopus stolonifer and Phomopsis capsici.
