บทคัดย่อ

Resource use efficiency on vegetable farms.

Using data collected from 90 farmers in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, the resource use efficiency and productivity of tomato, brinjal [aubergine], cauliflower and coccinia [gourds] production are examined [year not given]. Results indicate vegetable production is profitable despite major constraints such as the non-availability of quality seed, inadequate credit and marketing facilities; shortage of water; and inefficiency postharvest handling.
