บทคัดย่อ
This paper discusses the correct management of factors contributing to the postharvest quality of tomatoes (e.g. temperature, relative humidity, maturity at harvest, ethylene concentrations, respiration, etc.) and the use of modified atmospheres or the application of chemical treatments such as ethanol, ethylene and gibberellic acid, in order to help prolong storage life and maintain the quality of these highly perishable products with a view to making sea transport possible.
