Equipment for postharvest handling of potatoes and the mechanization of storehouses.

Details are given of the development of block-modular lines for receiving, conveying, sorting, storing and dispatching potatoes and other crops, e.g. onions, carrots, etc. The situation in Russia is compared with that in Western countries, e.g. the UK and the Netherlands.
