บทคัดย่อ

The characters of fruit development, change of fruit endogenous hormone and quality founding in seedless Ponkan (Citrus reticulata Blanco).

Fruit development in seedless and seeded fruits of mandarins was investigated. The length and diameter of seedless fruits were similar to those of control fruits before July. After July, seedless fruit development exceeded that of seeded cultivars. The concentration of endogenous gibberellin (GA) in seedless fruits was higher than that of seeded fruits. The ratio of GA:ABA in seedless fruits was higher than that of seeded fruits, which may explain the large fruit size of seedless fruits. The content of citric acid in seedless fruits was higher than that of seeded fruits before harvest, but was similar 15 days postharvest.
