บทคัดย่อ

Postharvest life of cut gladiolus spikes as influenced by different preservative solutions.

The effects were studied of 5% sucrose and 300 or 600 mg 8-hydroxyquinoline, 100 or 300 mg aluminium sulfate or 100 or 200 mg silver nitrate/litre on vase life of gladiolus cv. Oscar flowers. Vase life was longest (13.44 days) with 5% sucrose + 600 mg 8-hydroxyquinoline/litre. Anthocyanin pigment retention was greatest in this treatment.
