บทคัดย่อ

Grain cleaning - a profile sieve based on the harp principle.

Harp profile sieves, made of round steel wire stabilized by cross linkages, differ from other sieves in their exceptionally large open sieving area and can achieve over twice the sieving capacity of a sheet sieve. Laboratory experiments illustrate this by comparing separation effects and grain losses of sheet sieves with open sieving areas of 28% and 42% and a harp sieve with a 55% open sieving area.
