บทคัดย่อ

Detection in Spain of Seimatosporium lichenicola (Corda) Shoemaker & E. Muller causing postharvest rot in apples.

The coelomycete S. lichenicola was detected in the Rincon de Ademuz in Valencia, Spain, causing an internal rot and postharvest decay on apples affecting different varieties. The symptomatology, pathogenicity tests and several morphological and cultural characteristics of this fungus are described. This is the first report of this fungus in Spain.
