บทคัดย่อ

Olfactory analysis of postharvest apples by an electronic sensing device.

The technology involved in the development of a cheap and reliable prototype electronic sensor array, comprising 6 semi-conducting metal oxide sensors, and the methods of data analysis employed in the instrument are outlined. Results of studies on the aroma of fruits of 5 apple cultivars (Braeburn, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Royal Gala and Egremont Russet) are reported.
