บทคัดย่อ

The influence of rootstock on the postharvest behaviour of Ruby Red grapefruit.

Fruits of Ruby Red grapefruit budded on Citrus amblycarpa or rough lemon (C. jambhiri) rootstocks were stored at 4 or 12 deg C for 6 weeks. Losses due to decay and chilling injury were generally lower in fruits from trees budded on rough lemon rootstock than on C. amblycarpa rootstock. Data on changes in juice percentage, total soluble solids, maturity index and ascorbic acid levels indicated that rootstocks affect the metabolic activity of fruits under low temperature storage conditions.
