บทคัดย่อ

The keeping quality of apples when treated with antioxidants.

 

Trials were carried out on the keeping quality of apple cultivars Ordinary Antonovka, Uelsi, and Lobo treated with echinoplan B4 or echinoplan D2 at concentrations of 0.01, 0.03 or 0.06%. The apples were harvested in September, treated immediately they arrived in the storehouse, and kept at 3 deg C (Ordinary Antonovka) and 0 deg C (Lobo and Uelsi), at 90-95% RH. Details are given of the quality of the apples in mid-December, mid-January and mid-March. Echinoplan treatment improved the keeping quality of the apples, B4 being more effective than D2.
