บทคัดย่อ

Effect of CaCl2 on senescence of cut rose.

 

Spray application of 0.5-2.0% CaCl2 extended the vase-life of cut roses (Rosa hybrida) for 2 or 4 days. The CaCl2 increased the relative water content (RWC) and the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POD), decreased the rate of protein decomposition and malondialdehyde (MDA) content, and maintained membrane stability in petals during the vase-life period.
