The aim of this investigation was to determine the effect of seed flow in a seed cleaning machine on seed purity, percent of processed clean seed and consumption of electric energy. The seed flows used were: decreased seed flow of 1.6 t/h, normal seed flow of 2.0 t/h, and increased seed flow of 2.4 t/h. The biggest consumption of electric energy was the decreased seed flow and the lowest consumption of electric energy was with increased seed flow. The highest seed purity of 99,18% is reached in the decreased seed flow treatment.
